Gilly's Gelbvieh is located in North Central Kansas, 3 miles northeast of Jewell, KS. It is owned and operated by Roger and Gilly Reiter and the help of their four children, Bradley, David, Cecilia, and Evan. We have been farming and raising cattle since 1986, always using a Gelbvieh herdsire. In 1998 we decided to start the registered herd.

Our calf crop is sired by GGRR Cecil 833U, a Carolina Fortune and Flying H 150D cross, DCHD 224U, and Elk 214R son, Flying H 130P 144S, a Bennett G196-Landmark cross, and DCSF Postrock Focus 26U8, a Mytty in Focus Balancer bull. A.I. Sires used include JRI Resource, KCF Phoenix, and Carolina Fortune. We have exciting new herd sires for our 2011 calf crop: SRRG KT011W, a homozygous black Balancer sired by JCB LAZY TV Curve Time T163, DCH Hill W184, and JKGF W63, a double black Trendsetter bull.

We sell our bulls and heifers by private treaty and would be glad to show you our program. We are very proud of our herd genetics and the disposition of our cattle.
