Overmiller Gelbvieh and Red Angus is a family operation consisting of Roger and Norma Overmiller along with their sons Kelly and wife Risa; and Brent.  Gelbvieh bulls were first purchased in 1984 and put with commercial cows.  After the first calf crop we were sold on the Gelbvieh growth and when the first daughters were in production it was definite that Gelbvieh was the right choice.  We started out selling half blood bulls and have bred up to Purebreds.  We now also offer Balancer and Registered Red Angus cattle.  We breed for bulls and females that work for the commercial cattleman and will leave progeny that work in all aspects of the industry.  Our registered cattle run side by side with the commercial cows to test their survivability in a low input operation.

We have not shown much until the last four years in which we have been showing at the National Gelbvieh show in Denver.  The first year there we brought home the Reserve National Champion Bull banner with our home raised bull Onix.  The following year our herd sire Nitro was a National Reserve Division winner.  Our Production sale will be March 24, 2007, at the farm.  We will be offering 31 Gelbvieh and Balancers and 11 Red Angus Bulls.  Also offered will be 25 commercial yearling heifers and 5 registered Red Angus heifers.

Offering 20 Gelbvieh and Balancers and 20 Red Angus Bulls.  Also offered will be 10 1A Red Angus Heifers and 25 open commercial yearling heifers.   Click here for sale catalog!
