Welcome to Stucky Gelbvieh, where we are in the business of breeding quality Gelbvieh Genetics.  We have a small herd of 25 registered purebred Gelbvieh cows.  We may not be as active in taking cattle to shows as some breeders, however we do have a loyal following of commercial breeders who appreciate the functionality of our cattle.    At Stucky Gelbvieh, we are building on a solid cowherd that is producing real results for cattle producers just like you.     We have top quality cows and  use semen from some of the leading sires in the Gelbvieh breed to produce practical and functional cattle that combine quality genetics and common sense selection.  Please contact us if you are interested in improving your cattle herd with a Stucky Gelbvieh bull or if you have any questions.

In addition to Private Treaty Bull Sales, we will also have consignments to the Post Rock Genetic Harvest Sale,  KGA Pick of the Herds Female Sale, Post Rock Cowman’s Kind Bull Sale, and KGA Range Bull Sale.   Click here to view all of our great bulls we have for sale!

Stucky's LuLu 025FJL
Will be a consignment at the Post Rock Genetic Harvest Sale.

  • Stucky Gelbvieh has owned 6 generations of this 025 cow family

  • First generation was still producing calves when she ran out of teeth at 15.

  • We felt we could part with Lulu because we still own her dam, sister, and daughter.

  • Lulu’s dam has a BW ratio of 84 and WW ratio of 102 on her first 3 calves and is raising a set of twins this year who haven’t been weighed yet but I’m guessing each one will beat 600 lbs WW

  • Lulu’s first calf had a WW ratio of 107.
